Vlieseline Solufix is a self-adhesive embroidery stabiliser that is water-soluble - ideal as temporary reinforcement for fabrics that are hand or machine embroidered. Also useful for small patchwork projects. Suitable for all types of textiles that are washable and sewable, especially for stretchy fabrics. The self-adhesive embroidery stabiliser is made from 100% polyvinyl alcohol (PVAL), a water-soluble synthetic polymer, and weighs 67 grams/m2. Available in beige. Supplied per pack of 10 sheets of Solufix in A4 format.
PROCESSING VLIESELINE SOLUFIX
Apply the desired embroidery motif to the rough side of a piece of Solufix, remove the film and apply the adhesive side to the right side of the fabric (do not use an iron!). Now embroider the motif. Dissolve the embroidery stabiliser in cold or lukewarm water afterwards - no residue will be left behind.
